Our first Baby Shop Hop (www.babyshophop.com) is due September 1, 2010, but our newest event wouldn’t be complete without a chance to give back to the community that makes our Shop Hops possible! For each logo found and clicked on during the Baby Shop Hop we will make a donation to a charity.

Which charity, you ask? That’s for YOU to help us decide. Starting June 1, Shop Hop Productions launched their “Charity Select” contest.

Hudson’s June 2010 issue featured plenty of No Slippy Hair Clippy® in their urban chic “Keep Posted” fashion editorial. There’s a luscious red Kaia flower clip, a shocking pink Emily bow, a Makayla ladybug clip, and a fun turquoise Kaia clip, clipped to a purse. They’re the perfect counterpoint to this raw, gritty photo spread – like seeing fresh green shoots sprouting through cracks in the sidewalk.

Jim and Marlo Poole started Carolina Baby Company in November, 2007 after relocating from Southern California to the Southeast. They represent some of the finest baby and children’s gifts, gear, apparel, toys and accessories. They are well-known for “Poole-ing” their many resources and sharing their experiences to help their customers succeed.

Here, Marlo shares her insights on what makes for a good rep/manufacturer/retailer relationship, and what Carolina Baby Company does to build strong, and personal, business relationships.

Little Things Mean A Lot

Young artists usually have their first private showing on the famous gallery known as The Refrigerator, in homes across the country. However, second-grader Liv Larson’s parents loved their daughter’s creations so much, they transformed them into a collection of delightful greeting cards, Liv Notes! The overall response to Liv’s art was so positive, that the Larson family realized they were onto something special.

Preschooler’s brains develop and form synapses at a rate that astounds scientists and parents alike! Every brain literally contains more neurons than there are stars in the sky, and each neuron has the ability to form connections through learning. Preschoolers love to soak up an astonishing amount of information, so it is the perfect time to introduce them to the wonderful world of learning through the playful examination of books. The World Almanac for Kids Puzzler Deck: Trucks, Trains & More! from Chronicle Books is the perfect introduction to give children a jump-start on the learning road of life.

Expired: June 8th, 2010 - July 11th, 2010
