His GEM

Our Story began in 2004, when as sisters; we decided to use our God-given talents to create a business that would glorify Him.

Tammy, a recent empty nester, was looking to re-enter the work force as her son and daughter went off to college. Julie’s desire was to utilize her children’s design background from her home, which would enable her to spend more time with her young daughters. So, after much thought and prayer, we created His GEM, a collection of scripture inspired baby apparel and accessories.

Our name, His GEM, is especially meaningful to us. It represents the certainty that God sees each of us as His precious treasure. The word GEM, also happens to stand for the first initials of Julie’s three daughters. Our products are inspired by the scripture, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father…” James 1:17. We aspire to create quality Christian baby clothes and gifts that celebrate children as a precious gift from God. Every His GEM product incorporates scripture, with a unique design on superb quality fabrics.

Our mission is to encourage people to grow in their faith, and to boldly share the gift of love, Jesus Christ; who gave his life so that we may live.

Today, our prayers continue to be answered. Tammy’s once empty nest is overflowing with business responsibilities, and Julie’s home, equipped with three young assitants, serves as the design center for His GEM products.

We consider it a privilege that God has entrusted us with His GEM. We pray that others will be blessed by the message our products convey and that through them, God will be glorified.
