Noise, bright lights and other sensory interferences are common problems moms and dads usually try to keep to a minimum when the little ones are in bed. But what about the surfaces children sleep on? Studies show that the mattress a child sleeps on can affect sleep more than most parents realize. Enter Naturalmat mattresses, made with optimum health and safety in mind.

Appreciation for American-made products is all around us. As the economy recovers, more entrepreneurs are taking advantage of the benefits of doing business here at home. You can see them at every trade show and market, bringing their innovation and creativity to wholesalers. Retailers are realizing the impact of a “Made in the U.S.A.” stamp. When customers buy American, they can be confident that they’re purchasing a product that is manufactured to high standards in responsibility to the environment, treatment of employees and reliability of delivery. The Giggle Guide® presents another selection of these products, including Raindrops, Tidy Tots Diapers, Pure Play Toys and AXL Brand.

Dress tots in children’s clothing created by British designers for a spot of fashion. Zip Zap from Brecrest Babywear is an exclusive label offering a wide range of styles each season and has become a huge hit throughout the UK and Europe. Now American kids can strut their stuff in these charming imports. Little girls positively glow wearing the dress in a pink, red and purple dot pattern with a frill down the center front and matching solid leggings with frills at the hem.

Do your customers think that buying goods made in the U.S.A. is only a slogan? In truth, it means a great deal and here are some solid facts to mention as you proudly display clothes and accessories for kids from Lucy & Leo, Stinky McGee, Cavelle Kids and Stoney Clover Land — all companies that proudly produce their goods in the United States. When goods are made overseas, they often don’t meet strict U.S. standards. Furthermore, workers toiling in poor working conditions may make them. Buying American-made products supports more than just American manufacturers — it also helps support our workers, safe working conditions, and child labor laws.

Blankets for babies and children do much more than provide warmth and decoration; these cozy items often become treasured keepsakes that are passed down from generation to generation. Of course, if a blanket is going to enjoy heirloom status, it should meet certain criteria. First, it should be unique. A mass-produced discount store blanket can definitely hold emotional value, and it’s often the child’s choice of favorite “blankie” that stands the test of time, but most parents would prefer that a special blanket be aesthetically pleasing and well-made. Naaya by Moonlight creates a luxury collection of child’s quilts created to last a lifetime.

While nursing moms like the opportunity to pump when they are out, they don’t necessarily want to broadcast the fact. There are many different kinds of pump totes, but they tend to focus more on utility than fashion. Industry veterans (and moms, of course!) Shannan Runner and Kelley Lehner decided to bring busy moms a piece of the panache they enjoyed prior to pumping, with Juno Blu Bags, their new line of breast pump bags. Runner and Lehner’s bags go a step beyond fashion and utility: they are also developed from earth-friendly materials that would make any vegan smile.
