It’s Monday again and so it’s all about blue!

Today, I am sharing our Nahla - Button Polka Dot Flower clips. With its bright and bubbly colors (we have Pink, Shocking Pink, Lime and Turquoise), it’s the perfect way of welcoming Spring. We love that it comes in a refreshing turquoise color because as you know, fashion experts have predicted that turquiose is the color of the year! How much more perfect can these clippys be? ;o)

Happy Blue Monday everyone! If you’d like to join in, visit our lovely host Smiling Sally here! http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

I am so excited about our new Tent in a Bag. We have made tents at the park, beach, in hotels, and when the girls were little they were completely obsessed with “stroller forts.”

Remember how we used to pile stacks of books onto heavy blankets and try to make tents at home? NO MORE! Grab our Spring Bean clamps and attach the material to beds, chairs, tables, or even park benches and tree branches. Carabean the cute little bag onto the stroller and head out for some summer fun.

Hi there, Rachelle here! Filling in for Annie! We welcome the blossoming of spring with these lovely hair clips! With the blooming of a new season, there’s always a reason to have fun and celebrate with your little one.

Let your little hunny-bunny hop into everyone’s hearts with these Easter clippy Shocked)

And then add a little more flair to your little charmer for St. Patrick’s Day!

Charming Hawaii Kids launches The Happy Manatees on The Giggle Guide. We have added the two styles into this new category. The manatees, or sea cows, as they are sometimes called, are aquatic mammals that can grow to 13 feet and over 3,000 pounds, even though they eat only plants.

Okay, maybe not everyone in Hollywood yet. But we are so honored to know that Nancy O’Dell, who has been co-host of Access Hollywood since 1996 and now a mom to lovely Ashby, has named No Slippy Hair Clippy as her favorite children’s accessory!

In an interview in mamaista.com, where she was the featured Celebrity Mama of the Month, she gave a list of her top 10 product picks. Here is what she said about us:

Fave children’s accessory: The No Slippy Hair Clippy Bows. The most precious hair clips! Ashby looks sooooo cute with these in her hair.”

This new year is really turning out extremely well! We’ve been a bunch of busy bees with so many orders, have been up-and-about to prepare for the Boom Boom Room 2010 in LA, plus we’ve also been getting one fabulous review after the other! Like this new one from dear mommy blogger Margaret of Creative Madness. She says:

Celebrities have been known to choose very… err… QUIRKY names for their babies. (Jermajesty, anyone?) But recently, there are some stars who got really creative and thought up lovely names for their little ones. A little less quirky, but still very unique! Celebrity Baby Blog compiled their 2009 Celebrity Baby Names Roundup and here are some of my favorites:

Most Common Names

GIRLS: Rose
Seraphina Rose Elizabeth (Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner)
Myla Rose (Roger Federer)
Lyla Rose (Lisa Loeb)

I don’t know about you, but I simply love it when a guy openly and confidently admits that a girl has made him weak-kneed. Especially if the guy is a well-known, in-demand brilliant actor, like Jude Law. And I think the girl he’s talking about has an extra special place in his heart.

We have no words to describe how much we love getting feedback about our hair accessories. So you can imagine how excited and thrilled we always get whenever we get new reviews!

Recently we got a lovely one from lovely mom Christine of theiemommy.com. She tried out No Slippy Hair Clippy’s Salena Monogrammed Fabric Button Hair Clips on her equally lovely twin girls. Here’s an excerpt of what she thought of the clips:

We’re counting down the days to Boom Boom Room 2010 in LA and we cannot possibly be more excited! Here is a “snap shot” of what it will be like this year.

So here is the first painting of Hawk for 2010 which is available still in the shop…for now.
Klause the mouse is a busy body that knows just about everything that goes on in the house where Hawk lives. His mouse house is located in the back mudroom of the house where new critters that enter get questioned. Hawk visits him daily to get the house news. Super cute!

Below are a few more paintings that are available to buy at ART251.
Send them an email if you are interested.

How lovely 2010 is turning out to be for No Slippy Hair Clippy! We got wonderful new review from Nina Say of theonefantastical.com, a lovely young mom who recently tried out our hair bows. Here’s an excerpt of her review:
