Apparel industry veterans launch the only online, wholesale marketplace where brands and stores can sell and buy off-price goods

BELLAIRE, TEXAS (November 3, 2015)—Flutter Sales launches to provide clothing, gift and accessories stores and manufacturers with a platform to buy and sell in-stock merchandise at a discount. By selling on the site, Flutter Sales allows brands to create cashflow by liquidating aging stock. And, like consumer sites that allow shoppers to snap up fashions at a steal, the online marketplace gives retail buyers the opportunity to shop at a fraction of regular wholesale prices.

Playtime New York - Manhattan, (8/1/15 - 8/3/15)

For those in North America, the Playtime New York show is the one of the biggest events of the year where designers, toy-makers and retailers all come together to display their latest creations and network with others in the business. This year, Playtime New York took place August 1st-3rd at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. As always, Playtime featured well-established businesses as well as new arrivals from around the world. Finkelstein’s, Ultra Violet, tinycottons and Oli & Carol are among the notable companies that were in attendance at this season’s show.

The bar is being set increasingly higher for boutiques to carry quality organic items that are also stylish; These brands make is easy to go green: Little Citizens focuses on modern pieces in soft colors and sweet patterns, all 100% organic cotton with sateen and flannel finishes. Fidoodle gets intellectual with their organic DIY kits and imaginative toys. Mitani is a graphic-heavy collection of baby items that will wow customers with the vibrancy of their non-toxic ink. There’s nothing archaic about the Organic Quilt Company and its modern patterns with high-quality, hand-crafted baby bedding and more.

When you offer customers American-made goods you are sending a message and doing your bit to make our country better in many ways. Money spent on American goods translates into American jobs. We’re slowly climbing back but need to work harder. When you sell American-made you are helping move the economy forward; It’s a patriotic move as well as an economic one. The Giggle Guide® salutes four companies, CookieCutterKingdom, Peas and Queues, Tickle Toes and Dakota Leaf, all of which produce their goods right here in the U.S. These folks are doing their bit: the next move is up to you.

Maple Landmark has been making eco-friendly, educational wooden toys, games and gifts since 1979 in Middlebury, Vermont. Many people know them for their NameTrains, but they craft a wide array of children’s products including heirloom wooden baby toys, toddler toys, board games and gifts. The Giggle Guide® recently caught up with Maple Landmark for a look behind the scenes of this topnotch brand:

There’s nothing worse than looking into a closet full of clothes only to realize you have nothing to wear. You wouldn’t think babies would have this problem, but unfortunately, not all one-pieces are a perfect fit. American Posh was created to give parents (and babies) more sizing options, with custom adjustable, high-quality bodysuits that fit a wide range of children.

What’s one thing on a parent’s mind when they go to the beach? Sun protection, of course. And as convenient as hats are, unless that hat fits perfectly, it will barely block the sun or stay on a tot’s head. Introduce some Grom Squad hats into the mix. These dome covers are made to fit multiple head shapes from six months to five years old, and come in several style options. On-trend, fun designs make kids want to wear them, giving parents peace of mind during outdoor activities. Made of a durable material blend, each hat can withstand even the most radical of sports (as well as intense wash cycles).

The line features five solid crib skirts in flax, gray, spring pea, and willow, plus a white weave (non linen, but linen look). Coordinating crib rail teething covers, minky (faux fur) receiving blankets, and crib sheets complete the individual collections, which are also sold as separates. Available at www.lizandroo.com.

In the past 5 years since the founding of Little Crown Interiors, co-owners and designers Naomi Alon Coe and Gerri Panebianco have created 100 unique, one-of-a-kind nurseries, children’s rooms and playrooms.
