Brixy Announces Membership Criteria. Sign-ups Begin January 2, 2013

All Baby & Child, Inc. supports the efforts of the new retail association, Brixy, so wants to help Brixy spread the news about its progress. The Brixy Board convened in Boston last week to build the foundation of the organization, from membership criteria to bylaws, committees and more. We’re working with our lawyers to finalize the policies by mid-December so that we can share them with you.

Here are highlights of Brixy’s progress to date:

• Brixy set the membership criteria for joining Brixy. Retaiers can see the complete list at brixy.com.

• Brixy will announce its membership dues and member cost savings by December 7, 2012. Payment plans will be available. Brixy is also negotiating aggressive group discounts to help offset the membership costs.

• Brixy will begin accepting members on January 2, 2013. Bylaws, committee structure and the initial benefit package for Brixy members will be announced by then. Applications will be available for download on brixy.com beginning January 2, 2013. To expedite membership applications, Brixy will allow dual memberships in both Brixy and existing buying groups as part of the transition.
