K.I.D.S. Appoints Kenneth Baronoff to Board of Directors

New York, NY – January 12, 2011 – Kids In Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.), the internationally renowned children’s charity, today announced the appointment of financial industry veteran Kenneth Baronoff to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Mr. Baronoff currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and a Managing Director at Peter J. Solomon Company (“PJSC”), a leading independent investment banking firm. Mr. Baronoff has been with PJSC since 1999 and has over 20 years of investment banking experience. He also runs the firm’s Special Committee and Fairness Opinion Practice and has advised numerous companies in the retail, consumer and apparel sectors.
