Parents are willing to buy some items sight unseen, but most want to touch and examine the crib where their little one will rest its head. This can present a challenge for smaller storefronts that don’t have the space required for extensive display. While some boutiques can’t put together an entire nursery in their small spaces, they can set the scene by displaying a smart selection of eye-catching pieces that are sure to make the entire set a must-have. The Giggle Guide® starts you thinking about new ways to display and use furnishings with picks from Martinek BéBé, Arte M, and tinitikes.

I just finished attending my third Licensing Expo at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. I WROTE THIS BLOG in 2009. At this year’s event, I saw more than ever that whatever was old is new - or reimagined - again. So … I thought I would rerun these thoughts. Only thing maybe changed is popularity of Jonas Brothers? What licensed characters do you remember from childhood?

Got me thinking of the licensed characters of my childhood, and those that came and went during the “licensing years” of my three children over 20 years ago.

When a couple finds out that they are expecting twins, their life instantly changes. Looking at those two precious dots on the sonogram screen, initial shock turns to joy, then eventually the realization sets in that the early months of feeding and diapering are going to be extra, extra challenging. Raising twins (and other multiples) takes plenty of patience, helping hands from friends and family, and innovative baby products that make life a little easier. Products by Stroll-Air, TP Toys, TwinTrexx and Toddler Tables are a few such retail recommendations. Check them out on the double!
