With Father’s Day quickly approaching on June 20th, The Giggle Guide® has gathered a mountain of manly goodies for show and sell! While today’s dads don’t have to hunt woolly mammoths for dinner, they certainly don’t cave in when it comes to child-rearing responsibilities. Daddy Cakes, Diaper Dude, Poo-Pourri, and Air Hogs know best when it comes to awesome Dad’s Day gifts that help all the pops have a blast, while they perform their fatherly functions with ease.

Beth Clampitt from Dallas is nothing like the Clampetts on the TV classic who struck oil, black gold, and headed to the Hills of Beverly. But she does enjoy a “rich” life and business, blessed by sons, friends, ideal business partners and a lot of very satisfied retailers and cozy napping children! Since 2001, Beth has been president of My NapPak, which designs and markets toteable, all-in-one pillow, comforter and attached fleece blanket for kids who take naps.

It’s that time of year again — time to spoil the Dads in our lives! While this coming week is the last chance to increase sales for June’s big daddy day, retailers can encourage Mom and the kids to pop for pop throughout the year with fun finds that let Dad know he is the family’s main man. There’s something unique and entertaining for every family guy, from the griller to the golfer, to the brewer and the baby carrier! Check out these cool gifts guaranteed to make Dad glad from Wry Baby, Baby Brewing, Beco, Little Tikes, and Qolf.

“You have a gifted imagination,” is a praise-worthy complement that young children used to hear a lot from teachers and parents. Before the current home computer, video gaming, and iPod revolution, generations of kids were inspired by dawn-to-dusk outdoor neighborhood adventures and creative play with blocks, models, “army” men, tea parties, crafts and board games. Enthusiastic about these “good ole’ days” of playtime powered by active imaginations, Lisa Pearce and Wendy Scarbrough, both kids at heart, opened their Gifted Imaginations store last year. The store is a kid’s dream playroom filled with traditional wooden toys, puzzles, games and more.

The Giggle Guide® asked 26 moms “What is one thing you think manufacturers of children’s products should know or consider changing? Our moms stood united on their soap boxes to broadcast their chief concerns for quality, durability and safety in children’s products. Even though The Giggle Guide® knows that most manufacturers in the children’s business share the same concerns, hearing the moms’ insightful and potent message is paramount.

The Treehouse Showroom traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada this week and visits “Kids Kastle” at Caesars Palace.
“Kids Kastle” was booming with customers flowing in and out. Bags filled, and smiling customers excited about the purchases they’d made. The store was filled with tutus, accessories, and designer brands, great job buyers! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the brands they carry, and the check out process was a breeze.
