Chatterbox: Blog Central

As you know, No Slippy Hair Clippy participated in the Boom Boom Room 2010 early last month. It was an exclusive pre-Golden Globes event where celebrities were given all sorts of goodies from participating companies.

But now we want to bring the Boom Boom Room to you! So we have teamed up with Moby Wrap who compiled three amazing gift sets and will be giving them away in the coming weeks! All the items in the sets are from the companies who attended the event (yup, including No Slippy Hair Clippy!)

BopStarBaby is thrilled to welcome a new participant to our Baby Makes3 Celebrity Basket product collection: Bellala Baby childcare fabrications (baby slings).

Launched by a young mom in 2005, Bellala Baby began by creating unique carseat covers. Baby slings and nursing covers followed soon after – all of them in delightful cotton prints. These designer fabrics from companies such as Alexander Henry and Michael Miller have helped Bellala Baby stand out from the start. Their products are fun, functional, and fashionable – and we love that they’re made in the USA.

We’re happy to report that the January 2010 issue of Earnshaw’s put No Slippy Hair Clippy®’s new monogrammed hairclip right in the middle of its “Pampered” page, and it looks positively irresistible.

There’s also a great review of BopStar-PR’s new music client -the “My Baby Loves…” cd collection - in the February 2010 issue of Pregnancy & Newborn “Cravings” column. These cd’s are full of instrumental lullabies based on 80’s hits by Madonna, Michael Jackson, and others – perfect for humming along to as baby drifts off to dreamland.

We’re so happy to see No Slippy Hair Clippy® - a long-term and much loved member of the BopStarBaby product collection - in the Winter/Holiday edition of Baby Couture! The Angel sequined and Amber hairclips were featured in an adorable spread full of babies posing as puppets. That Baby Couture is always full of new delights – we look forward to every issue. Especially when they include one of our own!

Celebrities have been known to choose very… err… QUIRKY names for their babies. (Jermajesty, anyone?) But recently, there are some stars who got really creative and thought up lovely names for their little ones. A little less quirky, but still very unique! Celebrity Baby Blog compiled their 2009 Celebrity Baby Names Roundup and here are some of my favorites:

Most Common Names

GIRLS: Rose
Seraphina Rose Elizabeth (Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner)
Myla Rose (Roger Federer)
Lyla Rose (Lisa Loeb)

This new year is really turning out extremely well! We’ve been a bunch of busy bees with so many orders, have been up-and-about to prepare for the Boom Boom Room 2010 in LA, plus we’ve also been getting one fabulous review after the other! Like this new one from dear mommy blogger Margaret of Creative Madness. She says:

The devastation in Haiti reminds us of human frailty. But more importantly, how this frailty turns to great strength when we extend a helping hand and lift each other up.

In the hope of somehow reaching out to the victims of the earthquake, we invite you to join us as we do our share in aiding our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We will be donating a portion of our sales to UNICEF to help in Haiti relief efforts. If you’d like to take part, please visit our website. Every purchase at No Slippy Hair Clippy can do so much in extending a little help.

I don’t know about you, but I simply love it when a guy openly and confidently admits that a girl has made him weak-kneed. Especially if the guy is a well-known, in-demand brilliant actor, like Jude Law. And I think the girl he’s talking about has an extra special place in his heart.
