ABC Kids Expo 2011 Spotlights Sustainable Manufacturing & Eco-Friendly Products in Naturally Kids Pavilion

ABC Kids Expo^® will include the Naturally Kids^® pavilion again in 2011, showcasing juvenile product manufacturers who demonstrate a commitment to producing environmentally friendly products that are healthy for families and young children, as well as a responsibility to our planet and its natural resources.

This is a juried area and features a comprehensive grouping of manufacturers in a variety of product categories. Manufacturers and their products are reviewed annually to ensure compliance with strict selection criteria. Exhibitors for this year’s showcase have already been chosen and notified.

At least 90% of a qualifying manufacturer’s product line must utilize safe and sustainable natural and/or organic raw materials and compounds. Manufacturers must also show a commitment to ongoing new product development and implementation, demonstrate eco-friendly manufacturing practices and be certified in these practices by a government agency or independent third party.
