Dirty knees, soiled hands, smudgy noses, and ears you could grow potatoes in — just a few of the many reasons to make a child’s bath time a daily habit. There isn’t a parent on the planet that can avoid its necessity, and there isn’t a child that doesn’t benefit from its soothing properties. Starting from birth, the sound of warm water running into a bathtub is a ritual that wiggly babies and splashy toddlers learn to love; and whether the bath is filled with bouncy bubbles, calming essential oils, or just plain old H2O, all children want to add fun to bath time!

There is nothing more delicate than a baby’s skin. Unfortunately, many commercial bath and body products marketed as “hypoallergenic” can still cause irritation and rashes. Today’s parents are also concerned about possibly harmful ingredients that are often present in non-organic bath and body products. The Giggle Guide™ takes these concerns into consideration and spotlights some wonderful baby products, made with organic and all-natural ingredients, from Nature’s Baby Organics, Kiss My Face, Earth Mama Angel Baby and Giggle Baby Organic Skin Care.

Just as bad can mean “good,” and hot mean “cool,” the same formula holds true for Icky Products, as this brand connotes cute, comfortable, and clever children’s products. Kate shares with The Giggle Guide® how Icky started and what Icky means today.

Millions of products were recalled due to safety issues in the past year. Some of these recalled products had high contents of lead; others were choking or burning hazards and most were manufactured outside of the United States. Many people have lost jobs because the cheaper prices overseas closing US based manufacturing plants. Combine the job losses with the number of products manufactured outside of the United States being recalled, and you have a recipe for consumers who are more inclined to purchase products from companies who manufacture their products within the United States.

Taking bedtime by the hand is a company called The Incredibeds, started by father and visionary Jeremy Maloney, who believed that bedtime didn’t have to remain something for kids to balk at. Tired of looking all over the house for his son’s favorite stuffed animals, in an effort to make sleeping more appealing, he imagined what it would be like for parents if the comforting presence of a stuffed friend was impossible to lose! Thus, Incredibeds was launched, and a new, appealing way of settling kids into bed was born.
