The front man of popular rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave, Chris Cornell, is one of the biggest stars that rock and roll has ever seen. He boasts an impressive four octave vocal range, (which is pretty cool in case you didn’t know) and a charisma and presence that can not easily be duplicated.

These days he is doing solo projects, his most recent album is Scream, and working on his most important venture of all, his family. Chris is married to a beautiful publicist, Vicky Karayiannis, with whom he has 2 children, Toni and Christopher Nicholas.

These are some photos that were taken recently by my friend Jason Munford.

When you were growing up, did your mom ever tell you she hoped you had a kid just like you? My mom used to say it all the time. She also said that she would raise 10 boys before raising another girl. Hum… so hard to believe. Even though my kids have fur, I still ended up with 2 that are just like me.

There is so much going on in my life and this biz that I really don’t know where to start. My website J.AUSTINRyan is getting updated with new content, color changes, new images, and more features. These will all hopefully be done soon. My customers who have been ordering, well, let’s just say I’ve been getting phone calls to place orders, since my site has been down.
I also had a photo shoot with the ever funny Garrett who is pictured above, he’ll be popping up on my site as well.

Just because my kids have fur, doesn’t mean you sleep through the night. Here is how my sleep went the other night. I usually am in bed at a normal hour, somewhere around 11pm. I start out by positioning Gladys on one side of the bed and Taz on the other. I do this because they have been known to battle. It was YEARS before they would even be on the same bed together. I have a king size bed so you would think that would be enough room for two cats and me, but it seem I am the one who ends up in a tiny ball with no space. You will notice in the picture, the pillow pile.

Most people have never lived with a cat. I always hear how aloof they are. You can say that, until you meet our crew. They think they are people. They sure know how to work us. Smile Most of the times they are right there with you. If not, they come when you call them. Pete has to see you. She is deaf. We have rules, at least in our presence, they obey. This is part of the ongoing debate about what is “good” behavior.

I have always heard the advice, “Do what you love!” As a partner in a successful ad agency and marketing director at Earnshaw’s, I often got to do what I maybe kinda liked. At least I knew I was using some of my G-given talents. I have always been drawn to the creative side of marketing, primarily on the word side (since I found out in high school I could not draw well enough to be commercial).

Happy earth Day everyone. It’s finally beautiful weather here today in Texas. We have had so many hail storms, rain, and I’m done with it. It’s in the 80’s today and I’m still feeling stressed out about all the work that needs to be done by me. That’s really the main reason as well as to why I haven’t even gotten on this blog….YES…stressing about finding the time to blog. Well, a little walk with Hawk this morning definitely sparked my spirits ..a little bit. I was also reminded by my son Ryan today as how well I hold in my stress.

With my three boys, our nights are filled with their sports activities and homework. My youngest son Austin loves to draw. He really doesn’t pose much interest in wanting to be an artist when he grows up, so I think he just enjoys spending time with me. In that, he is always asking for a drawing lesson.
