Smart, but sassy, Ju-Ju-Be fuses technology, style and attitude into the hottest bags on the market. With a focus on the current crop of hip new moms, teens, tweens and more, Ju-Ju-Be shows that bags can be intensely intelligent while still being fashionable and fun. The brand was founded after an exhaustive search showed that current competitive products always left ladies searching for a better blend of features. Some had style, some had function. Very few had both, and even the most functional brands missed out on the latest innovations in textile technology.

For several years now, many designers have taken the mod vibe from a trend to a well-established apparel category. Hip, edge-driven designs are at the forefront of fashion for the littlest customers, and while these kiddos are too young for a driver’s license or credit card, it doesn’t stop them from wearing fashion-forward apparel in the crib and to the playground! With tattoo-inspired graphics such as flaming guitars, toned-down colors and high-quality fabrics, trendy apparel from no added sugar, Pink Axle and Rock Star Baby makes an up-to-the minute, sophisticated statement.

Is the ‘Traditional’ Brick and Mortar Store Becoming Extinct?

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day Holiday. In the past, (as a former specialty store owner myself) I would have been working all weekend, promoting a ‘Labor Day’ Sales Event. Television ads, radio ads, and print ads in local newspapers would have been de rigueur. But then again, that was over ten years ago…and a lot has changed…especially the mediums that would comprise a successful marketing/sales campaign. That should be obvious in this the age of social media…but for some it is not.

Many parents don’t have the luxury of a large garage or spacious spot to accommodate all their family “wants,” so they quickly learn to focus on family “needs” instead. However, even storing necessities alone can be a real challenge in a studio or tiny apartment. For families with small children, a stroller is essential, but strollers can take up a lot of valuable room and add little aesthetic appeal to a stylish apartment. MetroTOTS understands this dilemma for urban dwellers living in small spaces, and offers the very necessary, one-and-only, StrollAway — an ingenious over-the-door storage solution that neatly tucks away bulky strollers.
