HALO Innovations to Donate One Thousand HALO® SleepSack™ Wearable Blankets to Help Families in Haiti

Halo Innovations, makers of the leading Halo® SleepSack™ wearable blanket, has joined the effort to provide for the children of Haiti following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake which has left many homeless and even worse, without parents. As part of their ongoing commitment to keep children safe, HALO® will donate a Halo SleepSack wearable blanket to Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S) for each of the next 1000 fans to the HaloSleepSack Facebook page. Please join us in helping the children of Haiti by spreading to word.

The donation will be facilitated through K.I.D.S., Kids In Distressed Situations, an industry non-profit that brings hope and self-esteem to children in need and their families by providing new clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, books and juvenile products donated by leading manufactures and retailers. The donations move through a network of community social service agencies in the U.S. and abroad to reach children who are ill, living in proverty or are the victims of natural disasters.

“When we heard about the thousands of children whose families lost everything we didn’t think twice about providing what we could – garments for safe sleep as well as clothing suited to the Haitian environment. We are proud to be a part of the Kids in Distressed Situations efforts in this part of the world where help is so desperately needed,” comments Chuck Dorsey, chairman Halo Innovations.

Many thanks to those of you that have already supported us in this effort. Please join HALO at www.facebook.com/HaloSleepSack and a SleepSack wearable blanket will be donated to the relief effort.
