First, let’s be clear about one thing…if your company, brand, or product is geared towards consumers, then you absolutely need a social media marketing strategy. A Facebook fan page is a must. (for those of you who may have been in a coma for the past few years, I’ve included a short overview of Facebook at the end of this article).

The main goal of having a Facebook fan page is to get people to ‘Like’ your brand. Let me repeat this: “The main goal of having a Facebook fan page is to get people to ‘Like’ your brand.”

Lately, many of the top marketing minds have been stating publicly that businesses should be redirecting their resources away from their website and into Facebook, specifically Facebook fan pages. ‘Skittles’ now uses its website as solely a landing page, redirecting traffic to its social media platforms, specifically Facebook.

At Happy Heinys, we know from our family’s experience just how important it is to protect the smallest and most vulnerable babies from the minute they are born. After experiencing first hand the stress, anguish, fear and finally the absolute happiness of the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) I admit that as happy as we were to finally bring our little baby girl home we were also terrified! She had “coded” several times while in the hospital, so the realistic fear of that happening at home was tremendous.

I am so excited to be exhibiting at the ABC show for the third year in a row. I love meeting new customers and reconnecting with existing ones. This year I am sharing an end cap (booth 7419) with a really good friend of mine Nicole Williams of buti-bag. Although we both sell ribbon paci clips, we have many other items that will complement each other perfectly! For instance, totally by chance, Nicole is introducing her new patent-pending Kuff-its. These adorable iron on fabric piece create a new look for those favorite pair of jeans, also increasing the life span.
