Playtime New York - March 2012

Playtime New York, the international trade show dedicated to universes of children and Junior, will spotlight 100 creative brands at its fourth edition March 10-12, 2012, at SoHo’s 82 Mercer (82 Mercer Street between Spring and Broome Streets).

Playtime’s signature sophisticated yet whimsical ambiance will set the tone.

ThE ExhibiTorS - SomE figurES

Exhibiting this season for the first time, many brands are already exhibitors of Playtime Paris and are following Play- time in New York looking forward to expand business at the American market: pom d’api, mabo kids, new generals, chispum, magugu toto, neve inspired and many others !

In addition, many important brands are returning to the show this season, between them: bobo choses, tannhäuser, sons+daughters, oxanna by happy green bee and pale cloud.

For its next edition in March, 2012, Playtime New York is about to grow from 55 to 100 collections, always with the same demand and desire to enable its visitors to experience a quality offer in an exceptional environment.

The playtimenewyork.com exhibitors’ list has become, year after year, a unique and indispen- sable work tool for buyers. From now on buyers will be able to prepare, ahead of the next show, a choice of brands, including photographs and stand numbers, their personal list of preferences then being ready for printing or mailing.

Thanks to its 3 editions per season in Paris, Tokyo and New York, Playtime covers the largest world network of professional shows for children’s clothing and other needs together with maternity wear. For the last several seasons, Playtime has issued once a year “Playguide”, an indispensable guide- book offering ‘out of the way places’ for visitors to each of the above 3 cities.

For each edition of this guide, well-known personalities reveal some of their favorite spots and the hidden corners of their towns. It is full of ideas for things to do, where to eat and sleep, or just wander about or hide away…

For this coming January 2012 Playguide, the following personalities have collaborated:

Paris: the Designer Christophe Pillet, the Chef Christopher Hache and the co-Founder and the director of the Musée en Herbe, Sylvie Girardet.
Tokyo: the Illustrator Ami Suma, the Chef Keisuke Matsushima, the Pianist Yukio Yokoyama.
New York: the Dancer Darla Villani, the Producer Linda Goldstein Knowlton, the artist Joshua Ben

Playguide is sent to 20,000 professionals from the children’s and maternity universes and is distributed free at our 3 Shows. It is also relayed on the web and may be consulted throughout the year on www.playguide.fr
